| launched a signing ceremony of Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Faculty of |
| Biotechnology, the University of Surabaya, Indonesia and the Faculty of Science, |
Mahidol University (MUSC), at the K101 Conference Room, Chalearmprakiat Building. |

| Prof. Skorn Mongkolsuk, MUSC’s Dean has signed a Memorandum of Agreement with |
| Dr.Maria Goretti, Dean of the Faculty of Biotechnology, University of Surabaya (Ubaya), Indonesia, to |
| collaboratively promote the institutional relationship in education, science research and academic cooperation, |
| together with to exchange students, staffs, researchers, crucial information and related publications |
| between the two institutes. The signing ceremony was gladly held and witnessed by the involved staff |
members of both universities. The visit of MUSC Department of Biotechnology has also been organized |
in this occasion. |

| Before the signing ceremony, Dean Maria Goretti has also given a special talk on “Enzymatic |
| towards Chemical Hydrolysis of Sardinella lemuru Fish Oil-By Product for the Production of Omega-3 |
| Concentrate” the lecture held as an academic past of the Joint Symposium on Frontier Research in Biodiversity |
and Agricultural Resources, organized during 6-7 November 2014. There were numbers of under and |
| post-graduate students, researchers and lab-technicians from the Department of Biotechnology in attendance. |
